Avid Technology, Inc., world leader in digital media
production solutions, headquartered in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, and its German
subsidiaries sold Avid’s PCTV business to Hauppauge Digital, Inc, headquartered
in Hauppauge, New York, effective December 24, 2008. Element of the transaction
was the partial transfer of Avid’s R&D center in Braunschweig to Hauppauge.
